    About March VIII Collage

    OUR MOTTO:

    EMPOWERMENT. CONFIDENCE.

March 8th, International Women's Day, is the day for the worldwide celebration of women. But we don't celebrate just a day ... we celebrate it every day. Our mission is to bring international stylings to empowered women's wardrobes.

    Because ...

WE ARE educated, sophisticated and strong WOMEN.  Celebrating who we are, and where we are going. We don't second-guess ... and never -- ever -- regret.

Today, you see the result of me benefiting from an American business degree, fashion training from the Parsons School of Design and a growing business.  But, as with any life story, there’s a richer history that reveals my true inspiration.

Like many families growing up near the Ural Mountains of Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union, we didn’t have a lot of luxuries.  Yet, family-first, abundant love and a zest for life were felt every day.

My grandmother, a seamstress, exhibited a daily charisma that I fondly remember and is my muse in the choices made for my life.  She was a peach – so much so, that I can’t remember a day she didn’t wear an elegant outfit and accentuate it with bright red lipstick. Even if it was just to take out the trash.  One day I asked her ... Why?

“Katushka,” She explained, “a lady takes control of any situation by how she presents herself to the outside world.  A lady’s appearance demands attention and is her source of empowerment.”

March VIII is the culmination of my personal point of view on fashion and what constitutes strong, empowered women -- my homage to my babushka.   All styles are purposefully selected and absolutely reflect what I would personally wear.

You will find it’s the antithesis of the athleisure trends we see today.  As women command businesses, politics, and the boardroom, now more than ever, let our outward presentation be a reflection of who we are.

Be in love … be beautiful ... be empowered … be a woman!
